
This Tuesday, the SOLIDEO (the developer of the Olympic and the Paralympic Games) choose its team for the construction of the Media Cluster of Paris 2024. This project which is dedicated to journalists will be constructed in two steps. The first step includes the projects A and D which will host 700 housing units in March 2024. During the Olympic games of Paris 2024, these housings units will welcome journalists and technical assistants of press. The second step will be completed in 2025 with the construction of 600 additional housing units. In the next few years, this housing area will have 4 000 inhabitants in the villages of Dugny, Le Bourget and La Courneuve.
About the services, the cluster media will include a construction of tramway station from the T11 line, an elementary school, a gymnasium, a day nursery, a Heath house and 1 000m2 for shopping. The housing area counts 90 000 m2 which 20% reserved for social housing. Please note that the neighborhood is located near the regional station of RER B and in few years will be the fast underground station of Grand Paris Express.
The Media Cluster of Paris 2024 is composed of 4 parts. The architects from Hardel Lebihan agency will design the parcel A. MGAU will be in charge of parcel B and C. Anyoji Beltrando will design the plot D. Concerning the construction and real estate companies. The plots A, B, C will be constructed by Sogeprom and Demathieu & Bard Immobilier. The last plot is managed by Ideom and Gaïa Promotion.
This urban project is led by urban planners of TVK with the contributions of OLM, BASE, Urban Eco, Sephia, Igrec, C&E, RR&A, ACCEO, Ville Ouverte, Duval Conseil, ON, B-Headroom.
